SCC Programme Β· 16 Weeks

Senior
Controls
Consultant

From zero to independently deployable in 16 weeks. Every phase is designed so that at the end you can walk onto a live SAP controls engagement and execute β€” not after a year of apprenticeship. Not after someone rewrites your workpapers. On Day One.

The Promise

You Will Be Deployable.
Not Just Certified.

Most SAP training teaches you how to run queries. When the result is unexpected, you are on your own. TIB inverts this. We start with the fraud scenario β€” what goes wrong, who gets hurt, what the business consequence is β€” before we show you the test step.

By the time you complete the SCC programme you have rated 50 finding scenarios, peer-reviewed 14 finding write-ups, survived the Ironbridge simulation in the SCC role, and had your workpaper package formally QA-reviewed. Before your first real client.

SCC Graduate Capabilities
  • A01
    Execute all 70 SCC-domain procedures (A, C, D, E, F, G, J) independently β€” from SUIM to GRC ARA to Fiori SICF
  • A02
Lead a technical walkthrough with a BASIS Team Lead or GRC Administrator β€” questions prepared, evidence requested, nothing missed
  • A03
Produce a workpaper that passes Big 4 QA review on the first submission β€” without revision
  • A04
Write a High finding in CCCE format that a partner can sign off without rewriting
  • A05
Independently identify 7 of 15 pre-planted findings in the Ironbridge simulation β€” some hidden behind walkthrough questions
  • A06
Hold a finding rating under direct challenge from a senior client stakeholder β€” and document the exchange correctly
Who This Programme Is For

Five Entry Points.
One Destination.

01
SAP Security / Basis
You know the tools. You don't know what to do when the finding is unexpected or the client pushes back. This programme closes that gap.
02
Junior Auditor
You have audit methodology. You don't have the SAP technical depth to test the system yourself. Phase 1 builds it from zero.
03
GRC Practitioner
You know the platform. You've never been trained in what the findings mean to the business or how to write them up for an audit committee.
04
Accounting / IT Graduate
You want to specialise. This is the most valuable specialist skill in SAP advisory. The market pays Β£550–£750/day for it. It is almost entirely untrained.
05
Zero SAP Background
Phase 1 of the SCC programme starts from first principles. If you can learn a system, you can complete this programme.
The Curriculum

Six Phases. 16 Weeks.
One Certification.

P1
Weeks 1–3
Technical Foundation
SAP authorisation architecture. Core query library: SUIM, SM20, SM59, RZ11, GRC ARA. Domain A complete β€” all 10 procedures, all 50 model findings. You leave Phase 1 having written and peer-reviewed a CCCE High finding.
Milestone: CCCE High finding written and peer-reviewed
P2
Weeks 4–8
Technical Breadth β€” Domains B, C, D, E
Four domains in sequence, each taught scenario-first. Live system execution in every session. Peer-reviewed finding write-up at the end of each domain. Weekly live sessions build cross-domain pattern recognition.
Milestone: 40 procedures complete, 4 peer reviews passed
P3
Weeks 9–12
Advanced Domains β€” F (Fiori), G (BTP), J (Identity Governance)
Cloud-adjacent domains. SICF service authentication, BTP role collections, identity lifecycle gaps. Management response assessment. Pre-Engagement Readiness Check submitted before simulation access is granted.
Milestone: Pre-Engagement Readiness Check approved
P4
Weeks 13–14
Ironbridge Capital Group plc β€” Full Simulation
30-day engagement compressed to 2 weeks. SCC role. Instructor plays Controls Lead, GRC Admin, BASIS Lead, BTP Admin, and Audit Lead. 15 pre-planted findings. Four client character types including Marcus Holt β€” the IT Director who will challenge every rating.
Milestone: Simulation minimum performance standard met
P5
Week 15
QA Review β€” Workpaper Package
Full workpaper package submitted for formal QA review. Instructor reviews as if from a different firm. Maximum 2 submissions. The standard: a Big 4 QA reviewer cannot tell the workpaper was not produced by someone trained internally at that firm.
Milestone: Workpaper package QA approved
P6
Week 16
Certification Assessment
Written assessment. No published pass mark β€” instructor judgement. TIB-CERT-SCC issued. Competency Passport generated: every procedure executed, every finding identified, simulation performance, peer review scores.
Outcome: TIB-CERT-SCC + Competency Passport
The Standard

Big 4–Calibrated.
That Means One Specific Thing.

Not "industry-standard". Not "professionally recognised". One specific test: a QA reviewer from any Big 4 firm reviewing a TIB SCC graduate's workpaper should not be able to tell it was produced by someone who was not trained internally at that firm. That is the rejection criterion. If a QA reviewer can tell, the workpaper fails and comes back.

On the Career Trajectory

SCC graduates independently deployable on SCC-domain procedures. Β£550–£750/day Big 4 sub-contract rate equivalent upon graduation. First 3 live engagements build a track record. Controls Lead programme or upgrade available from Week 17. CL graduates at Β£850–£1,200/day engagement lead rate.

The Flight Simulator

Ironbridge Capital Group plc

The first time you encounter a repeat finding escalation, a defensive BASIS Team Lead, or a client who tries to go around you to the Audit Lead β€” that should not be on a live engagement. In the SCC programme, those moments happen in Week 13.

Β£28bn
London asset manager AUM.

Prior-year repeat Highs.
Both require immediate escalation.

Marcus Holt, the IT Director.

What you will experience in Weeks 13–14: Day 8 β€” system access not yet provisioned. Escalate or wait? Day 11 β€” SAP_ALL confirmed on a dialog user. Call the Audit Lead now or include in the daily sync? Day 19 β€” Marcus Holt challenges your High rating in a Teams call. You have 10 seconds. What do you say?

Ready to be deployable
in 16 weeks?

Not certified. Not trained. Deployable. There is a difference. TIB graduates know it because they experienced the Ironbridge engagement before they encountered a real one.
